This is the employment opportunities that Giant opened for
our Rovers, I would like to offer this to all the Rovers not
only limiting to Bukit Bintang, let me know how shall I go
about it.
.
I feel that apart from activities to be organised for the boys,
we should also looking into character and career building as
well. I don’t like to see all the young Rovers "Lepak" around. 
.
.
Yes, there are
opportunities that we can offer your Scouts as follows:
.
1.  Part Time Cashier
This will be on weekends and Public Holidays.  They can earned
up to RM100.00 a day for 10 hours of work.
They must be at least 18 years of age or above.  Training will
be provided and they will be shown how to operate a tilt
before they assume the role officially.
After undergoing training, the Scouts will have to leave us
with their contact numbers and they will be on call basis.
Currently we maintain a pool of 100 Parti Time Cashiers who
are trained in Klang Valley.
.
Giant/Cold Storage/Guardian are located at almost every
corner of Klang Valley (and also in major towns across
Peninsular Malaysia), your Scouts can choose their
preferred location to work on weekends and P.Holidays
provided we require them at these outlets.  As an example,
a Scout staying somewhere in Kelana Jaya, could be assigned
to Giant Hyper/Super in Kelana Jaya, Giant Atria or Giant
paramount.

If you are highlighting this particular opportunity to them,
the only concern is that sales collection which is short
during the period that they operate the tilt will be recovered
from them.  And more seriously, if they steal and are caught,
they will be surrendered to the long arms of the law.

2.  Full Time Employment
.
a.  Sales Assistants
For those that could not continue with their studies after
Form 5, we can offer them full time employment as Sales
Assistant. Salary starts from $600 in KL.
.
b.  Management Trainee
For those that managed to continue with their studies after
Form 5 or 6, and has a Diploma or Degree, we can offer them
full time employment as Management Trainee.  Salaries starts
from $1,000 for a Diploma and up to $1,800 for a degree.Scouts
with some kind of tertiary education (whether diploma or
degree) can expect career progression from Management
Trainee to Assistant Department Head and Department Head
within a span of 12-24 months.

We hire some 200-300 fresh graduates for our Management
Trainee program on a yearly basis and up to 95% of all
Management Trainees recruited are Bumiputras .
.
